Born Against and Various Other Sundry Elements: A Public Service Announcement from Scott and Kerri
there are prescious little of our natural born against elements occuring because of a widespread lack of donation based funding. third world countries give to born against at a rate three times that of the average industrialized nation. please help offset heavily overproduced aural emmissions by donating your belief system to your local born against branch office, most likely located in a dusty basement or v.f.w. hall. bars are also a good place to look.

Channel Street Update: 4/14/08- Another example of "Do it"
We're riding on the escalator of life...Overview of our little setup complete with railroad tie scaffolding
........................................................................................................................................................
From a half hearted, "We should..." to this final product, my little idea has now become a part of Channel Street. Call it Skateable Art if you want to. Ignore it all together if you feel like it.
Love it, hate it, I don't really care. At least it got me off of the couch for a couple days this weekend.
Rob and Bill really helped make it happen, and Christy showed up and jumped into the project as well. That's saying a lot considering that it was about 100 degrees in the sun. You could watch a wet piece of slate dry and feel it get hotter as you held it in your hands. Add in some black grout and you got yourself a scorcher.
Stage 4: Tiling the wall directly behind the roller.

Blurry Eyes and Pairs
Ok, So, as I stated earlier in the week, I shot some 35 millimeter stuff down at the park.
My general reaction to the roll was, "What the...? Are my eyes are getting bad?"
Almost every shot was blurry. Then I realized that shooting long lens with a 50 mil lens at F2 is a sure bet on blur. What a dope. I need to get back on the horse. If you see me shooting digi, give me a hard time. I need to get back to flesh and blood celluloid.
These are the shots I managed to salvage. I scanned them in pairs and it kind of worked out, so I left them that way.
............................................................................................................................................
Here's Dereck and Robbie, gluefoot style. Go get em boys.
Twist and shout. Lilly and Fabian. Sounds like a jewelry company.

Channel Street Update: 4/7/08
I finally got to stop by the park on Sunday to see the new stuff in action. Everybody was killing it so I shot a whole roll of TMAX. Here are a couple digital shots of Fabian and Rob killing the extension on the new deck to hold you over while that stuff is getting processed. I think the 35 mil. stuff will be better. I'll post it in a few days.
